CANDIDATE FORUM

The GHI’s Nominations & Elections Committee will host a Candidate Forum Tuesday, May 8, for members running for the offices of Board of Directors (5 seats) and Audit Committee (3 seats). The Forum will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Room of the Greenbelt Municipal Building, 25 Crescent Road.

You can experience the forum in different ways. Come in person. View the live cablecast on Comcast Channel 71 or Verizon Channel 21. Watch the live video-stream from the city’s web site. Or see it later at your convenience—replayed on the cable stations or on demand from the city’s web site.

At the forum, you’ll not only hear the candidates speak but also have a chance to question them about the issues that concern you most about GHI. It’s a great way to decide for whom you want to cast your votes at the Annual Meeting and election on Thursday, May 17, and Friday, May 18.

Mark your calendar to attend the Annual Meeting at the Greenbelt Community Center on Thursday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. Come early to avoid long check-in lines! Voting will begin after the meeting recesses and continue from 7-10 a.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 18 in the GHI Board Room.
