GHI Board Seeks To Fill Vacancy

GHI BOARD SEEKS TO FILL VACANCY

The resignation of GHI board member Laura Moore has left a vacant seat at the board table. Qualified candidates should submit a Letter of Intent in a sealed envelope marked Board Candidate to the Management Office by the close of business on February 21, 2012.

Candidates must be a member of the Cooperative and be willing to participate in at least 21 board meetings per year, which are held every other Thursday of each month. Other duties/qualifications include serving as board liaison to at least one committee, a respect for confidentiality, team spirit, independent thinking, and a genuine love of your Cooperative. No prior experience is necessary; however, general business and financial knowledge or experience is helpful.

 A candidate will be selected from the submissions received and will be approved by a plurality vote of the remaining directors to serve as a director until the next regular annual membership meeting on May 17, 2012.
